Formally known as the Fighting Blood Cancers 5k, this year race coordinators have decided to rename the event to the Keep Fighting Run Festival and include a 10k, 5k and Kids K.
Moving the race from a predominantly unpaved trail course at Decker Lake to an all pavement race in Cedar Park has allowed the race to be accessible to more runners of all levels.
Working with the City of Cedar Park Police and the Leander ISD to coordinate safety and location, the race promises to be one of the fastest 10k courses in the Austin Metro Area. As a USA Track and Field sanctioned and certified race it will count toward all national runner rankings.
