Go Mitch Go Foundation
Founded in 2009 to honor the legacy of Mitchell Graham Whitaker, the Go Mitch Go Foundation strives to raise money for lifesaving blood cancer research by supporting endurance athletes as they train. At Go Mitch Go we are committed to finding a cure for childhood blood cancers, raising awareness and assisting families battling cancer.
In 2005, Mitchell was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). Two years later, after numerous rounds of chemotherapy and hospital stays, Mitchell lost his battle with cancer at the age of 10. His last words before passing away, “Keep fighting,” are ingrained in the foundation and serve as our athletes’ battle cry. His story of determination and warrior spirit have inspired donations of nearly $900,000 since 2007 to fund blood cancer research through the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and other partner organizations.
Go Mitch Go provides athletes the support and training they need to accomplish their goals.
